you should try it yourself.
it sure depends on what drugs ur using. i only know about weed+producing.
It's nice, but also depends on what kind of weed you smoked. It could be that some weed gives you more inspiration than other weed but always make sure you're able to do things with AND without drugs. Let that be a lesson

for checking your music if it's work or not, yes. For producing no, steals you just time if we talking about weed.
I know some ppl who taking some chemicals when they produce should be great, coz you can finish faster a track, but no thanks.
