Why not accidentally smash the radio at work to pieces and then say you're stricken with a physical manifestation of Tourettes? If they don't believe you, staple gun them to the walls and put paper beneath their feet and say that you're going to burn them for witchcraft (make sure you have a really twitchy insanity in the face when you do it). You'll get a little spell in a psychiatric unit but then afterwards should be almost perfectly unemployable and be on a good whack of invalidity benefits for life.

Firstly, best line ever.

Secondly, I went to Uni and did a BA and an MA because I love learning and the acquisition of knowledge. Be careful of hypocrisy, student haters.

And things I hate in no specific order are:

- Price of London transport. My days, I used to get on a bus for 30p.

- Celebrity and all the accoutrements, i.e. Heat, Grazia, Jade Goody et al.

- People with money who think it gives them a position to scorn over others.

- Orange Juice.

thats my one real hate that i cannot overlook, the first sign of a shift in ones costume is enough for me to change my opinion about that person for the worst.

This is a weird one, realness. I do actually know what you mean but isn't identity largely a construct? And shouldn't people be allowed to change and reinvent themselves, to be what they want to be? How do you know you are real? And how do you know someone else isn't? Doesn't this just lead to fascism? I do happen to think there is such a thing as an 'essential self' and perhaps personality should be based on that but it's a point that's constantly debated by psychologists and philosophers.

'Realness' is a very dubious concept. Usually it implies some form of conformity to certain tribal standards anyway. And anyone who thinks they don't repress large parts of their personality in certain situations is kidding themselves.

Of course it is obvious when people are being 'fake', it's like when their words are at odds with their body language.

my dad lectures in economics at TVU,

its not like i went to university to do a subject i hate. i studied computer science, a lot of the course dealt with stuff i generally dislike such as formal notations (extra boring math) but for my own interest i mess around with puters all day long, so thats the bit of it i love and now i can make many monies

He's a very bright bloke, was checking his blog and he's pretty erudite, but I do kind of wonder how much of this he's really into and how much it is just testing the endurance/morality of the audience. Wonder how many women he manages to pull with a back catalogue like that.

Mind you I did find the tune that's supposed to be about Tracey Emin really far too funny, totally lampoons people making cash from victim status. Lucky they have lyrics on the web or I wouldn't have a clue what this was about. I think he could be a master of irony or a borderline sociopath but I find that way more intriguing than Posh's new disorders.

They are hilarious. But also it's quite a serious confrontation with all that's sick and repulsive and generally unacknowledged in human psychology. He's big into NLP and was running this thing called The Relationship Academy, as you might know, where he supposedly taught people how to be more confident, get laid and get more out of their lives. The other guy in Whitehouse has a Phd in psychology I think.

instead of "the government wants..."
