Hot Flush/Scuba appreciation thread

Post by daggus » Thu Dec 13, 2007 10:22 am

reckon this is overdue

Been quality year from the Hot Flush mob. Pushin a proper diverse selection of dubstep :!:

reasons to big up:

Scuba - never disappoints with a release an been killin it recently cant stop rinising his Zen Militia remix & "out there"

Gravious - honed his own style tis year with some wicked tunes "fall" & "subterfuge" my favs. Watch out tho he's got some wicked shit on the way ill'er than blood in yer poo.

Not to forget Vaccine beautiful stuff, Jazzsteppa oaaftt cant wait to hear more of them, Dz - strong on ya is fuckin killer tune, Space & Time comp etc anyway i could go on...

yea so big up/word/braaaap whatever the cool kids are sayin :P

nice one Hot Flush more of the same next year please

hotflush, big in the game for many a year.. long may it continue
have loved someof the stuff thats dropped on the label this year, "Frisco" definately my fav, love the Space & Time album aswell

and damn straight, when u click "listen" on a hotflush release u know its gonna be something stirrin
not something predictable and "sound-a-like"

DZ- Slums DubImage

Also Si Beggs Remix of Toasty's Angle is a total trip of a track, I'd love that building BBC public anouncement style synth, if ya get me. (prob not).

Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

Hotflush is my favourite label since day one! Those Toastyboy releases are amazing! Scuba "Outmost" and "Beta" are really big, big, big tracks!

hotflush's recent releases have but top notch too, and it's probably my favourite label at the moment. some proper sick releases. vaccine, dz, scuba, boxcutter, gravious are all amazing

this year was a huge year for hotflush.. the 12"s just kept coming! apart from the slt mob bits (what happened?), the label continued to push unique sounds.

totally looking fwd to the vaccine album next year, having gotten a taster from her electronic explorations mix.
