Post by laurent » Thu Apr 27, 2006 4:00 pm

I've absolutely no idea what either of these sound like but in case its of interest to anyone here, there's links to the new albums as streams.

Kid606 – “Pretty Girls Make Raves” - www.fanaticpromotion.com/media/kid606

Drop The Lime – “We Never Sleep” - www.dropthelime.com/weneversleep

Apologies if this is a repost/etc... but ive not got any proper sleep this week :(

thought it might interest some people on here tho.

Nice stuff... so much better than his last EP. If you're a little handy with your browser's cache, you can extract all songs as 192 kbps mp3...

skeen. I still have a bit of a hard time wrapping my head around some of this stuff. Some of it really catches my ear then some doesn't. I don't think I've bought a shadetek release or any of the tiger beats stuff yet. I'll keep listening and maybe that'll change:) Hot Sauce Grillz is fire btw.

I saw Drop the Lime in SF, he rocked it for about ten minutes then went mental with some crazy crazy beats.

I got Kid606's last album, "resilience", and it was shit. Nowhere near as good as "kill sound before sound kills you", "who still kill sound?" or "action packed mentallist brings you the fucking jams"
