if you need to drink, smoke or pop pills to have a good night, then you're not really having a good night. I'm not anti cos I do bad things but the best night out of my life was stone-cold sober cos the music was killer and the vibe in the place was killer.
don't suggest that dubstep and weed go hand in hand cos they don't. and I'm for legalising....
I'd say that no substance is essential for a good time at any night if your into what your seeing / hearing. But saying that it doesnt go hand in hand isnt true. Having a smoke / drink / pill and a dance is amazing.

Unless you get hold of booze, weed and pills, in which case you're laughing.

Marijuana and dubstep is crap !!!!!

I like to find a nice dark table in the corner, cook up a big shot of smack, slam it in my jugular vein, and go deep into a nod and meditate on bassweight.

I've never been myself to the West Indian Centre, but surely if its just flat out packed it can't be that good for dancing in? I like having a good space to get a groove on bi@tch!
Went to the Aphex Twin night at the Warehouse Project. Now don't get me wrong the night was excellent and you could get away with blazing inside but it was so packed there's no dancing going on, just people squashed together jumping in unison.
Packing venues is another one of those situations what we will never win though, more people=more $$$.
Apologise for the big rant, just got in work and need a rant before I executed a work "colleague..." urgh!

Oh don't worry, I've heard to many good things about the place to not go! What about blazing in there? Is it cool? Just got back from Dam and it was such a privelige to be able smoke in clubs\pubs\resturants again. I was more happy about that than the amazing smook!:)

Ha ha ha, that's quality! Went to Motion last Friday, they have a nice outdoor area that was OK for smoking but had to be careful of the bouncers occasionally. That said, we went to the half-pipe after the dubs had calmed down and the manager sparked up a fat one!

In the lax places it's fine. In the uptight killjoy ones you just find yourself a corner outside and cover yourself in other people's cigarette smoke while you covertly smoke a j, hoping the burly bouncer doesn't notice. A bit like school, only with fewer slutty underage girls.
