Labels that release MP3s, but not WAVs?

This will turn them into wavs as well.

Wouldn't you prefer a true WAV or FLAC, rather than a vinyl rip?

Lets not forget that the labels can upcharge for a FLAC/wav version so they stand to make a larger profit over vinyl.

Not Serato.
Serato plays WAVs. FLACs no, but it's not exactly tricky to convert them. Could take up a whole bunch of HDD space if you have loads though I guess.

Year, that software Converts Flac's to WAVS.
