Neil Lennon, Hektagon/Rusko Remixes

Post by ts (yesyesiow) » Fri Dec 21, 2007 10:24 am

Im pretty sure I've got the details of this muddled up (corrections welcomed) but picked this up from Juno a Couple of weeks back.
Im particularly feeling one side, a kind of digidub, dubstep and techno style track with some nice deep vibes to it.

Its a more accessable sound in my opinion than some of the dubstep/minimal techno stuff, more of the Carl Craig/ Richie Hawtin full fat style to the techno influence.

With all the recent chatter about Dubstep splintering into subgenres I am wondering what you think of this style and if anyone knows any background about it or of anything similar?

Its Mike Lennon - When Science Fails - Hektagon / Rusko remixes.

Hektagon is a talented producer, does electro, D&B and dubstep.
Mike Lennon does minimal techno/house stuff.

Watch, more stuff from Hektagon in the pipeline..

The Hektagon take is enormous. Love it to the bone.

easy elemental
it seems like you are completely correct, bagged that Audio Freaks twelve inches with the original and the remix of yours.
Both are dope.

Big ups
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?
