I assume I can order this online from them? it takes like as long to get stuff sent 120 miles to me, as it does overseas, for some reason. but it is MUCH cheaper through them usually. hmm.

every chance you get, everyone, bother BBS about stocking the dubstep.

if anyone can get access to new records in good quantity stateside, its these dudes.

i prefer to buy my vinyl locally, supporting local shops is important to me.

its good to see them finally getting stuff in, but im thinking they are hesitant due to their investment in 2 step garage which ended up collecting dust in the corner a few years back...

let them know we needs the dubstep!!

Is this one physically @ BBS or only online? If you're a NY resident and purchase online, that's 10.99 + import tax + state tax + shipping = almost double the amount you'd pay if you were purchasing from places like redeye or boomkat.

I dunno about breakbeat science - forced exposure's doing a bangup job, with the new hyperdub and hotflush already, probably with the tempa remixes soon following...

they have been stocking small amounts physically (supposedly ima be able to go over there tomorrow and pick this one up).... but with the new store setup shipping is out of brooklyn, which kinda makes things not so great as far as them having stuff in store for sure. i miss 9th st :(

but word, i dont order online so i dont know how the costs are.. damn i miss 9th st.....

im sayin, if your in LA, encourage your local spot, yuh know...

things have changed, but with this whole internet thing it seems to me that folks have neglected a important part of building a local scene, the record shop... its great to order the hot new shit as soon as it hits, but if you are located near a shop like BBS, please support them as much as possible.

my 2 cents. im probably just old fashioned though.

damn. just thinkin about the state of shops in NYC makes me sad.

bleh.

they need to start stocking dubstep and such @ Halcyon in Dumbo if that isn't already the case.

Yeah, 9th was the spot. Thinking about it makes me realize that I've been shopping at BBS for close to a decade! :o

I have a TP and some of the mids in the Monsoon sample are a bit distorted. Not major, but noise around the edges. Anyone have the same problem with the full release?
