Oh yeah , it's a part of the game. Both players agree by throwing their gloves on the ice. The refs let them fight until they fall down. The best is when every player on the ice fights. Sometimes even the goalies will go at it. Which is funny since the goal tenders are as far a part on the ice as you can get. Rare treat.

I love how commentators describe it as if it were boxing. :lol:

Over here if you get a brawl in football they just complain about how sad it is to see.

I might have to start watching Ice Hockey.

errrrrr do any of u play ice hockey or ice skate actually? cos we bought some pads at work for a sound effect and the shop will only do a store credit return and wtf are we gunna do with store credit in an ice hockey/ice skating shop? so we're tryin to sell em on ebay... nobody's biting.

You could try some local Uni's. Might just be cause we've got an 'Ice Arena' here, but Nottingham Uni has an Ice Hockey team (and you know how students love cheap shit).
