It's an amazing album - I'd say the most commercial, at least in appeal to people in other dance scenes, that any dubstep artist has made yet. Every tune has got hooks that work even on laptop speakers or whatever - but then totally comes to life as real dubstep when it's banged up loud on a proper rig.

it's the innovation which struck me joe. the use of interesting sounds not often found in dubstep.

that's what sets it apart for me.

i wouldn't necessarily say commercial, i find it less accessible that the skream album for instance.

As I said on another thread, I think this album is more of an ALBUM, structured for listening from beginning to end, where Newstep felt a bit more like a collection of tracks.

Re the commerciality, you could well be right and obviously only time and the market will tell about that, but I do think this has 'friendlier' frequencies in it that will reach to a wider audience even than Skream.

pleasure is on the cd.

there are 5 tracks on the vinyl which are not on the cd.

and there are 9 tracks (including crunked up, emotions and night) on the cd which are not on the vinyl.
