I was wondering how the celebrities were chosen for that meal? Did they auction seats for charity or summat like that?

You're not in the minority - I despise this kind of pretentious cooking. I'd rather eat frozen dots from some molecular gastronomy joint than have to guess the six thousand disparate stuffs in this nouveau arrogant culinary movement.

Food only needs to be complicated if you are working with shit quality ingredients...

I know he's Michelin rated but so is the burger joint around the corner from my house.

Fuck a rice veloute.

sorry, I'm a bit protective about my eats :P

i hate the whole concept of treating food like a commodity and artform when some people have none, and he is particularly bad for this

I watched that african series he did and he decided to cook ostrich and scrambled ostrich egg whilst seemingly very drunk and surrounded by ostriches. The ostriches were a trifle peeved at his cooking of one of their family IN THEIR FUCKING ENCLOSURE and attacked him. Don't think the meal ever got finished

That and when he was trying to make the perfect tequila sunrise and fucked it up 30 times (taking a sip out of each naturally) and when he finally did it he was so drunk and euphoric that he could barely string a sentence together.
Hmm....

great opening music as well

he would probably never be allowed on tv again though due to 'health & safety' reasons.
