a preplanned route seems unnecessary, more than enough interesting places to ride/drink/cotch from the meeting point in most directions really

don't rush too far at the start, i'm playin catchup for a while i reckon, supposed to be working until 11, so that probably means i'll finish at like quarter past, back home by like half past/20 to, then either bus/cycle really fast to where you lot are - so my main point is don't go too far off please!!

Just as a friendly heads up, I cycle to work and at 6:30 last night it was brass monkeys so midnight is going to be bitter, especially if it's a clear night. Remember those thermals or make sure you have a stella jacket on and it's done up nice and tight.

This is how they do it in Philadelphia..

Had a top of the line shit bike right..mountain bike..it was a bit on the heavy side so I wasn't bringing it up - Instead - I went and bought this super mega huge chain and special super bionic lock and was chaining it to a rock solid drain pipe on the front of my building...

One day the word PHOBIA showed up in chalk written on the pipe exactly where my super bionic lock stood..I thought about this Phobia for awhile and then forgot..

Next day I came walking up and my bike had been pulled down as if someone had walked by and intentionally put my bike down...

Next day it was gone.

I was sooo mad at myself!!!

A couple of weeks later someone had chalked something next to my car and I was like OOH NOOO!!! and started shuffling my parking around from that day on.

Sounds like you want to turn this into a triathlon. Drink, smoke and ride. ;) Most of bike frames have holes for water bottle cages. You can buy one in your local shop for under a fiver. Or get yourself a hip flask and fill it with some intoxicating liquid.

Some sort of lights would be good also.

And remember - you ride at your own risk!
