NO! you not like Mr. Beast then? always ignored em for years til I heard that and realised they were good. think my fav is happy songs for happy people though.jim wrote:They get worse with every release.
had the chance to see em at supersonic last year but saw OM and
SUNN 0))) instead (not a bad thing- they blew my mind).
It's all downhill from Young Team for me I'm afraid. Friend of mine once suggested that Barry Burns is the Yoko Ono of Mogwai, I'm inclined to agree.barryhercules wrote:NO! you not like Mr. Beast then? always ignored em for years til I heard that and realised they were good. think my fav is happy songs for happy people though.jim wrote:They get worse with every release.

Zombi are amazing! I saw them supporting Jesu (who are also fantastic) and they very nearly stole the show - their drummer is an absolute powerhouse.ms hathaway wrote:anyone ever heard zombi? sounds like epic metal movie soundtracks. best way i can describe it.
Mogwai are great. So maybe they phoned it in a bit on the Zidane soundtrack thing but they're still one of the most powerful live bands around.
