Nice animation, but would be cool if it went somewhere.
Ironically, real bioluminescent squids and jelly fish look much more trippy/CGI than that:

for example.

it adds nothing to the tune though. think of massive attacks unfinished sympathy, the video adds to the song but takes nothing away from it.Renegatus wrote:At least it doesn't detract from the tune.

should have been filmed blair witch meets hostel style, on a camcorder, with death, blood, naked girls, and werewolves.

thats sick!! that bioluminescence squid has mad lights? how does something evolve like that? it looks like an underwater traffic light! and yes, the creatures of the deep are some weird looking things, maybe its the lack of sunlight that makes shit evolve like that.
maybe the night video could be remixed? using some more creatures from the deep? make a narrative maybe? hella savage, im sure no one on here would shop you if you made an 'unoficcial video!?'
i dont think its shit at all, its quite good, its just frustrating cos after you've seen it , it doesnt go anywhere, take the idea further. anyway, unlike a rock song mor hip hop trap, there no lyrics so i gues it would have been a lot harder to come up with a concept AND produce it. these things have to be turned around in very short space of time, 2 weeks MAX

Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

Exactly.
I've worked in music vids for years as an animator and it really is not fucking easy. The timescales are tiny, the budgets are tiny and the recognition if the tune doesn't do well can be tiny. Respect to the guy for getting picked to do the vid in the first place, he's got a lot more chance of getting a chance to do another dubstep vid with a bigger budget and more time for his next project than any of you lot.
End rant.

was overly pissed whne they sayd in uptown it sold out
seems a bit of a backwards choice as I think the only people it will appeal to are 12" single fans or kids with mp3s on their itunes
