knowing what I know now...

I would buy the uad

but the glowing lights on the powercore are so f**king cool!

I got it because they have an access virus plug (that I never bought)

I nearly got it for that, but then I remembered that I've never been impressed with my mate's Virus.

:)

Flashy lights are cool, though. :)

UAD is totally Mexico.

It depends what you want.

I got the UAD for the RE-201 for tape echos and the LA2A for ace sounding vocal compression. I can't state how fucking amazing it sounds. It squashes with voodoo. I got the Duende purely because it gives me a massive knob.

the two dsp effects that are REALLY hot right now are phasing effects, and delay effects. both of types are really popular, and you can find 'em in pretty much every track out right now.

ugh. all effects are based on either phasing or delay. eq is a form of phasing , as is filtering. flange, reverb, delay, and chorus are a form of delay as well... strangely enough, "phasers" are a form of delay too.

i spelled it right. firefox agrees. you die now. you die soon, joe.
