i posted it in the ninja hideout but it got moved here
no one said it was "dubstep"
but it falls into the same loose affiliation i guess

and lets not start a "this is not dubstep / yes it is / no its not" war.

if you like it - listen to it and appreciate and tell your friends

if you dont like it - go listen to something else

Renegade Hardware!

My first real genre..

I've been listening to drum and bass since the age of four!

Hold tight Horse, this tune is nasty!

When the fuck did Evol Intent stop makin amazing DnB and start making rock music?

Serious I used to love their stuff but that's a joke, that Spor remix on the other hand is a beauty

EDIT - Just had a quick listen to the rest of that EP and good god it's sick, Middle of the Night is killer, nice one for pointin this EP out man even though the tune you mentioned really really doesn't tickle my fancy

Most of their non-dnb projects has been done under aliases (see: Hostage, Treasure Fingers, Ludachrist - I like a lot of the Hostage and Treasure Fingers stuff), but I think this forthcoming album is supposed to be a culmination of a lot of their interests in one package.

Also, the track the OP pointed out is a collaboration with the lead singer of BANE, a hardcore band here in the states.

Just pre-ordered this album on redeye and it doesn't even feature the rock track, all seems to be DnB although there are a couple of tracks that are just plain mental lol

Evol Intent might be toying with it, they did make an edit of "The Nine" last spring that dropped tempo in the breakdown. Makes a friend of mine's blood boil every time he hears it though.

Noisia might be toying with it too, they had a promo mix floating around that ended with a non-dnb tempo track, wasn't their usual breakbeat/electrohouse either, just a bit bass modulation work out.
