Great album, but not instrumental really.
On the digipak version of Nile's Ithyphallic you get two instrumental versions of a track bonus...
Emperor - The Wanderer is a good instrumental track too... but honestly I don't think I recall an instrumental-only metal band.

Yeah sorry bout that, I read it as "industrial" for some reason. I'm having a hard time thinking of any metal bands being exclusively instrumental at any point. Vocals are always there in some form and frequency, it seems.

check out the track "last day of winter" by pelican if you're looking for some heavy kick drum. it's near the end but it's on of the greatest build ups in a song i've ever heard.

Pretty much any metal with unintelligible lyrics might as well be instrumental
Used to have a mate that played in a grindcore band - he wrote lyrics but it all came out as Woaargh wurrgh
Highly recommend Fudge Tunnel - the band not the euphemism
