Ive got Creative T7700 7.1 surround system. My deck are Gemini Shabby5000's. My amp is my PC. My system sucks ass. Dont buy anything like it.

If I was you first I'd get one of these...

or if i was on a budget one of these...

then I'd get this to handle that coverted 1-30Hz sub low...

or you could buy your own house and build this...

and if you need that extra little bass intimacy or you are just out and about get this...

finally, if money and climate really are no object at all then do this...

Hope that helps!

go to a shop, use your ears. Take some dubstep music with you to test some speakers. Buy the best ones you can afford.

easy.

I've got my Dad's old Kef Cadenza speaker's from the 70s, they're so nice for dubstep, bass all the way down to 30hz... :D

Only problem with em is the foam on the bass baffle disintegrates over time, makes picking up a pair in decent condition quite hard to find.

On the contrary, when I was purchasing speakers the shop guys encouraged me to trun it up as loud as it will go, simply in order to demonstrate the capability of the product.

Get yourself down to one of the charity shops that still sells electrical equipment, a secondhand hi-fi shop or even Crack Converters and see what they've got to offer, friday adds and local papers are always a good bet as well. I saw a pair of lovely old Mission 770 freedoms for £55 quid recently, which are awesome speakers from the early 80s, and some kenwwood and sony amps for about the same price... Definitely much better than anything you could pick up new for that price.

Like my man said, cash converters and places like that! those guys know nothing about what there buying in, if you have a good eye for equiptment you will pick up a bargain.
