Dubsteppin': Skream!

Post by cactus » Wed Feb 20, 2008 12:08 pm

Saturday 17th May
Cactus Club @ MaZ, Brugge, Belgium
doors: 9pm

Achter Skream schuilt Ollie Jones. Skream if you wanna go faster!

Why booking skream again... There are so many djs who play as good or maybe better as him that are waiting to come to belgium.

Nothing against Mr Skream because hes a badman but ...

Im maybe sounding a bit dodgy but people gonna start disliking him in 1 or 2 years if it goes on like this. I think

hehe it's not to be called original, but still, a nice set is guaranteed with Skream though...without Skream I wouldn't know dubstep at all...I don't understand the little critics here.
It's like you would say dave clarke isn't original at a techno party, or refuse to see wu-tang if u are a hiphop fanatic... not to be understood...

The only thing I remark is that there are a lot of dubstep parties here in Belgium, but I don't mind that!!

No nothing against skream mate. :D

Just: Dourfestival, Petrol, Substancelabelnight, Cactus and probably some i forgot or still have to come.

Its not that i dont wanna see him again. But dont give the world an overdose of mr Skream. There are enough big headz you can book and will still attract enough people.

Sorry aboat the moaning :D

f there's one person who can spread the dubstep sound around newcomers it's him. And that's a good thing right? :)

in my opinion dubstep aint big enough in belgium just yet to be booking a lot of other artists. With skream youre sure to attract a larger crowd.

And Skream is ideal to bring in those unknown or still in doubt about dubstep.

A lot of friends of mine are going to petrol for skream, since theyre like 'if were going to try dubstep it might as well be with him'

while a few weeks ago i went to see tes la rok in hasselt. He played a big set but i had the feeling around 20 ppl max in there knew who he was or what dubstep was and I dint find that much ppl to join me for the trip.

So in the meanwhile let skream open it all up and most of all, ive seen skream twice, but cant wait to see him again, he is the absolute nutters !!

well mista phonetics
i think ur thoughts are right if u're talkin about Brussels where we are bringin a lot of different artists there cause the crowd there can go out for dubstep nights since 2005 or something which is not yet the case for some other different areas in Belgium.
So for this one i can definitely support the fact we need one of the dubstep originators and probly the biggest name in the scene to introduce the sound there.
