05 03 08 : MAGNETIC MAN
Benga, Skream and Artwork unveil their live outfit...
Dubstep has officially taken over. You may have noticed. It's probably running your local council, it's certainly running Croydon's. It was only a matter of time until someone put together a live band to front the scene, thank jeebus then it's the crowned Kings: Skream (or Mr 'I made the first dubstep anthem') teams up with Benga (or Mr 'I made the first dubstep crossover anthem') and Artwork (a.k.a Menta a.k.a Mr I've been doing this since day dot). This is going to be crossover big, 'night' big, we saw an advert for it in the Guardian this weekend, yeah, that crossover big...
you can buy tickets for this gig only at

What i like about this is its gonna be really good and not really shit like the whole pendulum fiasco in dnb.
Whats also great about dubstep is that the people at the top of the scene i.e. benga and skream get lots of love from everyone rather than getting mercilessly slated like in dnb.
I'm sure plenty of people in dubstep are a little worried that dubstep might go pop but i reckon its safe due to the large quantities of low frequency bass in dubstep and the face that people people listening on radios and tvs don't get anywhere near those frequencies thus defeating the object of most dubstep.

Maybe John Kennedy (Big Apple's gaffa) may be included, doesn't he play techno..? alongside Arthur it could be interesting melting pot of styles.

Either way I'm looking forward to it. March is gonna be a strong month of events.
