march 28th deadline *whew* i was thinking feb 28th. i need to get on this. i havn't even unrarred the sample pack yet.

I love working with straight audio for basses, but i don't often do it anymore..
Find it really gets me creative, especially once resampling starts to occur... yum

I've been having a few problems with this... Sometimes it seems to work for me with the fruity sampler and it will map across the keyboard itself, and then sometimes it wont... Is there any vst that is good for loading this type of thing into to manipulate it... I'm getting by with what I have, but I feel that there must be a better way to achieve more control

Was considering entering, but figure i should hone the "skills" before i try. Are we going to be able to have all of the entries as 320s as a means of choosing the winner like last time? I've listened to the samples, and i reckon some fairly interesting stuff is going to come out of this one. Really wish i could get involved actually

Shortcircuit is a good, free sampler for that kind of thing, but if you are really into messing with the sound, i think the plan is much resampling. Yeah, i did just say i wasn't good enough to enter and now i'm trying to give advice

when I receive all the tunes, I'll post them up and then we'll run a poll to see which tune people like the best

the prize is you get to make the next sample pack (provided you do it within a reasonable amount of time)

I might not have enough time for this but I'll have a go. Deadline's aren't my strong point... as my past education will verify.
