ch3 wrote:Just one for now, not really perfect, but I accepted that already :) (a little scaring and stencil got in and messed with the colour in some parts...) And I really, really like bold black stuff (don't mistake with fashionable tribals), sketchy black stuff, but also colourful nature themed tattoos - that's probably why I ended up with minimalistic white one

Not sure what bloodlined means... The lines are actually pretty clear and visible, the whole thing is slightly raised too, maybe that's why pops up even more in the picture. Unfortunately some stencil stains are visible too :( Maybe I will try one more layer some day to make blueish marks paler. It also looks funny in uv light, it gets bright red, hehe.

I know! I was surprised myself :) It kind of looks like the negative, so the tattoo becomes way darker than the skin.

That sounds pretty fuckin cool actually... kinda like a UV tat, but more visible under normal conditions... :)

bloodlining is where you tattoo (normally just the outline) without ink - just water... this brings the skin up in definition (like a mild scar) but without actually colouring it....
it burns a lot more than normal ink when its being done as the water evaporates off so quickly... but it does the trick at holding the shape of the tattoo.

you may find they may have deliberately put blue in to make the while stronger perhaps? it's difficult to tell from the pic! ;)

Probably can if take it without flash. I just don't have any uv light around! I was at some venue where they had one, so I just checked how it looked out of curiousness.

Dr ddd, I'm afraid blue is there by mistake - tattoo artist overestimated his skills.

You can see some quality work here: http://modblog.bmezine.com/category/scarification/ both freshly carved and already healed. Some of the project are massive, like this one http://modblog.bmezine.com/wp-content/u ... 1-pix2.jpg or this http://modblog.bmezine.com/wp-content/u ... -pix10.jpg

this is my piece - i love it as much now as i did the day i got it. the joy of having an ankle accessory that complements my heels far outweighs the fact i have to hide it from my clients sometimes.

I love that most of the people who posted their tattoos in here are women! Very nice, ladies - a well placed tat is muy sexico.

I dont have any because Im extremely indecisive, Im afraid that Ill end up hating it in a few years and wont have the money to get it removed when I do. I have a few ideas though that Ive never seen, so maybe someday... that would be a good 30th b-day pressie, huh?
