sorry to break it to you veggies and vegans, but your shit certainly does stink.
fuck all the trendy americans eating tofu and salad for every meal. i like real food thanks
people that eat meat tend to look at those that don't with a raised brow...and as for vegan, forget it--people say the dumbest shit when they have no idea what they're talking about (talking about other meat-eaters i've encountered--not referring to you).
people that preach are wack--this goes for everything. the
you attract more flies with honey then vinegar approach. they give those that stand for something a bad name. i hate associating myself with those that do....just because you stand for something, doesn't mean you have to stand on a soapbox.
as for pets, i have 2 cats that eat regular cat food. my decisions on what to consume are for myself. i know they are mine, however i'm not gonna start fuckin' with that kind of stuff...just let them be as they have been since they were born!
let's face it, what really matters is the fact that every thing you do--big or small--counts. you can't ever not "consume"...so deal with it!
.much.

fair one, i see where you're coming from.
i don't have a problem with veggies, that would be ridiculous.
i just don't like people trying to tell me that meat is bad and i'm a bad person for eating it. most veggies don't come out and say this, they beat around the bush by first stating how fantastic people that DON'T eat meat are, then trying to make you feel guilty for eating battery farmed chicken.
yes, animals are treated horribly, yes they are slaughtered brutally, but what about the vegetables? how do you know that vegetables don't have feelings too? i know when i'm on acid i think trees can talk to me.
yeah, meat is bad quality, but you'd be a fool to think most vegetables are good quality. do you think those parsnips you bought from tesco are organically grown, fair trade, good shit? nope they're grown in a fuck-off huge field owned by a near-bankrupt farmer, sprayed with pestecides and probably genetically modified, picked by polish workers getting paid £2.50 an hour, then carted 2000 miles around the country til they end up 2 miles down the road from you in tesco.
unless you're growing your own vegetables, or buying local produce from reliable sources that are operating fairly and don't use pestecides or GM, you're no better than any of us meat eaters at the end of the day in my opinion.
to get top quality, gm free, fair trade, tasty food consistently, you'd have to take it so seriously and spend half of your life worrying about what you're going to eat next. maybe this is why so many people get in your face ''I EAT HEALTHY! - SALAD IS KING!'', because it takes up half their life and they feel the need to tell people about it.
still, each to their own. i've been having debates about vegetarianism with one of my best mates who is a veggie - one thing is for sure, food is good, we can all agree on that surely?
