Yeah, gonna be big again

But Clear Channel is now running business since last year and in 2 years the price lifted from 70 to 100 Euro... So probably it will get more and more expensive... Shame

I don't think this is true. The only (well known) festivals Livenation (aka Clear Channel) owns in Belgium are Rock Werchter, TW Classic, I Love Techno and Graspop.

I believe the reason the ticket prices (which are still very democratic) went up the last couple of years is
a) because some of the acts have to be booked through Livenation
b) they sold out 4 years in a row, not raising the entry fee would be dumb

Anyhow, I'm there as always! :)

Dour was quality last year apart from the very poor organisation of gettin into the festival. Took a coach down there last year with 50 mates which was unreal literally started raving on the coach as soon as we set off. Very tempted to go again this year.

If your looking for a cheap way to get to Dour this year check out http://www.festivalbus.co.uk/

A good friend of mine is running coaches to a fair few festivals round europe and there are group discounts available.

this line up looks tasty. whats the vibe like at this festival? been wanting to go to a european festival (fuck the english weather :P), but i got the impression that sonar and exit last year had a bit of a questionable atmosphere

Great atmosphere and had no trouble at all with any people. Only problems with the campsite is around A and B the ground turns into a sludge of mud due to so many people walking around especially if it rains.I was in the F site which was a bit of a trek to get water and such but the ground stays fresh n grassy. All about the lake tho which we found well early on, there was literally no one about untill people found out and the sun started beating down. Here are some photos from last year:

the lake is crazy, up to 4 years ago there were maximum 100 people there during the entire day and then suddenly a bom exploded and thousands showed up.

Dour has really cleaned itself up the last couple of years. I remember the first years I went I saw people cutting open tents while people were sleeping in them. People walking around with dogs, guys shouting they had tons of drugs for sale. No security what so ever on the camp site.

Although it's less grimey these days the festival itself is still one big chaos

Let's hope they put the dubstep in a bigger tent, they underestimated a little bit last year.
