http://www.virb.com/legendaryinnit "oldertune" rmx of my mates 3-4 year old tune.

Played about with putting wobble in there but it killed it.

Not really dubstep don't even know what you could call it but I enjoyed making it :o

Good work on a the kicks as well - what effects you added to give them that much prescence?

there are several layers of kicks, eq's together.
The Bass is compressed/ducked by the kick to ensure they pop through the mix with proper bass presence as well.
Link is a compression wizard - i know all of the percussion was carefully compressed for maximum presense without being too stuffy.
She turned on Skream 4 in reason and processed one layer of percussion.
once i had the tune back in cubase I added an additional kick-like sound and filtered it off for just an extra touch of very top end texture.

That's my best recollection anyways.

Like the Rub a dub track on your myspace got my head nodding, as far as this little bit goes sounds like a nice few bars heading into a deep soulful edge but maybe i have just been listening to way to much moodyman thinking it could take insipration from "id rather be lonely" but yes i would stick at it.

I just fully mastered down a new tune I've been working on called Swing Dub. (old clip on myspace)

Just started a new tune called Dream Dub and i've already stuck it on the myspace. Literally banged it out in about an hour. Best tunes are the quick ones. Lean up crew!

Both are on the myspackle :

I like those warm rhodes style sounds at the start, a really good track to introduce a deep and moody set with and the bleepyness is pretty hypnotic, strictly dark room business.

Really like the 2step feel, vocals are polished too, bass is pumping too.

Would say this is really dance-able too!

To save a double post, heres my work for today
