Great night. Still mashed. Miricale, Coki's madness tune and the last tune in dmz best of the night. Goth Trad v Distance, too dirty, just pure madness. Big up them, they made it explode. Kode 9 playing that new Bug tune with Flowdan, is mental. Kinky by Skream is too much too handle. Out to everyone else that played. Got the best pic of Youngsta ever! (lol).
Good to meet some many peopel once again. Out to Jay and Hazel from Dublin, hope you guys had a safe journey home. Respect out to Mala, is a legend. Daniel, David and Adam ofcourse. Big up Braiden, Deapoh, Appleblim, Chef, the ladies working in the ticket booth, Oneman, Julia (too random) and everyone else we spoke to. Respect to all the DMZ crew. Thanks
Pictures will be up some time soon. Along with other events that have already taken place this year.
Peace

Big night. Out to everyone that was there seeing the usual faces but also out to the international crew.
Nice meeting some new people too...Adreamia, Hazel and Jay.
Strictly good vibes, great night and looking forward to the next one.
Those Gothtrad tracks were dirty! That's all I'm saying.
Hope you got your camera back Appleblim.
Peace.

Great night was merked at 3.30 put pulled through till lights on. Goth-trad and Distance was too dirty man. DMZ set hit the spot. Out to Joe nice with the heaviest basface of the night was jokes. Benny Ill and Oneman in the room downstairs was heavy. Out to all the people who were in attendance and had to work the next day.
crazy night, w/pros and cons. really enjoyed Quest, that double drop mixing was amazing. "stand" is a future classic now. Out to the vocoder tune dave q dropped.
Not out to the too many people on the dancefloor during Mystikz, it was so full it felt dangerous. Definitely some doughnuts about too: not your time.
it was all about plastician playing a Filthy Dub/2003-4 set in 3rd Base, that system still takes all comers, bass and treble. out to Oneman b2b Horsepower playing a "Roots of..." set there too. all about Wookie's "Far East". Out to Chef for the jungle.
talk was of 1300 people inside mass. With all three rooms open, dubstep has never felt bigger.

It ain't where your from, its the way you act.
Had a good night, dunno was one of those ones where I spent most of the time chatting to people- didn't go upstairs much until Kode vs Plastician either, it was too busy for me lol Still, Kode was smacking it hard as usual- South London Boroughs, Broken Heart RMX got me bopping at the end... also what was that tune which sounded like a Bug thing with vocals on? Filth. His mixing was on point too, to me he's the top DJ in this scene (didn't get to see Mala though).
Last Mystikz tune was pretty sick too, techno like in terms of the driving rhythm to it.
It was all about third base for me most of the night- Plastician was SICK dropping grime riddim after grime riddim, was hype as fuck. Tron and Benny smacked it too, Tron's first mix of that MJ Cole thing into Lean FWD was shocking- out to Tron for the purps too! lol
CHEF was the highlight actually for me, didn't seem to be that many people down there for him which was a shame (it was nicely busy though I suppose) because his set was sick (who was he back to back with? apologies, I was drunkle as fuck by this point)- proper techno/housey. In fact I noticed during the whole night a general techno/house sort of theme emerging in tunes- D1s set was like funky house or something. Think its a positive direction really, that wobble thing still produces good tunes but its been done to death.
Joe Nice dropping I Wanna Sex You Up lol Didn't catch most of that set in the end, I will be gutted if it turns out Joe dropped Stand (which he probably did).
Out to Appleblim/Shackleton playing a heavy reggae/dancehall set in third base- shame it was a bit dead by that point, but still got a little crowd moving to those Buju/Bounty Killer tunes.
For me overall this one was more about the people than the music- DMZ always is about the people though. Big up everyone I saw/drunkenly moaned to- including Frebentos (mash-head lol), Faye, Appleblim, Shackleton and Necta, Tron, Guy, Whistla, Badger Tek, Ben, Ramadanman, Hopper, GRANDLE etc.- sorry if I've missed anyone out, I was off my face as usual so can't remember all that much. Oh- and big up Pokes for soldiering on with a fucked ankle and conversing with me about getting chucked out of legoland for making a hitler tasche out of lego
It is crazy and inspiring to see people from all over the world coming to DMZ, madness really.
