the beers didnt seem to affect me up until joe nices set....then i was gone...remember attention, and dmz vs mzn, and cokis headbanger when he dropped it...so not a total waste of a journey....

fellasleep on my way from brixton to viccy...ended up in finsbury park...fucking gutted...made me late getting back to viccy as its like 7 stops the wrong way hahaha...hence i missed my coach at 8 and had to wait till half 10 4 next 1 which i had to paay extra 4...should of just blagged the bus driver instead of telling the guy on the desk, so a total of 40 odd quid instead of the original 20 odd i paid

Big night, enjoyed it more than last years i think.

Came up from bristol, got in just in time to hear Pinch drop '3k lane', went nuts.

DMZ tore the roof off too.

Any1 got any photos?

Oh my diddy. Quest LD fucking SMACKED IT. Douple drop was TOOO MUCH. I was dead for about 30 minutes after.

i was literally in pain from how hard i was bouncing / creasing / shouting... ridiculous, one of the best mixes EVA. LD and Quest completely smashed it

it was wicked in 3rd base too

and nice to see all whom i did, always a pleasure, whether briefly or otherwise :)

hahaha, big up! gold.

i was utterly wrecked after a five-day extravaganza (two here in hki, bomb, fwd, dmz), but man, what a sick night. quest played an amazing set as usual and kode9's first burst was genius, but i don't think anything could possibly top mala, including anti-war dub -> miracles. hearing miracles get played the whole way through on a proper system (nice one with the extra stack) is amazing. 3rd base was heavy though too, appleblim & chef faves there.

out to (in no particular order) roko (thanks again man!) and the rest of the leytonstone crew, rogue star, jen, boomnoise (those three also doing three days back to back, soldiers), tes la rok & desto missioning from helsinki, chefal, johnny thc, will blaze, cash money, l-wiz, trickykid, furiouz, all the rest of the svensk massive, whistla, bert, kid caz, nick argon, pk, sinc, everyone in the dance not trying to be a rudebwoy but just feeling the tunes and meditating/brocking out/whatever.

totally rinsed. gotta crash and probably hibernate too.

Shouts to the crew getting in the que at 9:45 - 10:00 (When the line was at its peak, I wish I'd arrived at 12:30 when there wasn't one :/) some good conversation made the almost two hrs seem like 1

Huge night.

raaaaaaah. wow guys, just wow. fucking ace night, legendary. having all three rooms open and full just made me have to stand back and take it all in. when the lights came on i jumped up on the sofas, looking over so many people still going at it was a great moment. so many people! few gurning bellends there but the warmth and entusiasm of the majority there made it such an excellent night.

tunes o' the night for me were Cha (in 3rd base), attention (me and skip's competitive brapping), miracles (again!), anti war dub and darkstar thugged out bitch. plastic's set downstairs was ill, was so good bopping about to that music in 3rd base! follwed by oneman who was equally sick. i missed quite a few of the sets in the main room just cuz it was a bit too full, however i thought dave q was really good, nice slow-burning bangers, got me properly psyched up. was seriously feeling the new stack! my preferred side of the room just got better! got so wasted back at mine, bassment sesh!

special shouts to pk, dubluke (wreckage back at mine man! i feel so corrupt now!), badger (left you on my sofa mate- you get to surrey alright?), stants, skipple, rekordah, incyde (nice to have ya back), oneman (sick mate), roko, d3, thc (was truly jokes yapping to you all night) ken evil (warp 9 at 9am sounded ruff!). good to meet datura, mikey g

looking fwd to seeing some photos. wouldnt mind on of them "3" tees, missed out on the ones last year too.

after traveling all day -- i'm crushed.

the only thing keeping me awake are the fumes from last night -- wow.

that's all i can say -- wow. More when i'm not semi-comatose.

So glad I decided to come! I'm aching all over from at least 5 hours straight dancing madly!

Walked into the Effra not really sure what to expect but, after being chased round the pub by some old man insisting he would go to DMZ if I was going, found a genuine friendly bunch of people. Thanks to all the Forumites for being so welcoming.

And the DMZ organisers - Mala's handshaking at the end summed up the warmth felt by all towards the event. Highlights for me were Goth Trad v Distance tearing the place to shreds with riffs and reloads. Would be great to see more UK dates for Goth Trad in future. Skream's set really gripped me - kept meaning to go downstairs to see Shackleton but could not leave - best I've ever heard him play.

You might not remember me cos I introduced myself as Rachel (I'm not really as dark as my name suggests in real life!) Was great to meet paolo, boomnoise, badger, andreamia, ashley, dubluke, drew, darkside and many others.
Thanks to joenice for a very nice curtsey, and 'dyz' (?) from Netherlands for remembering my Forum name at 4 in the morning. And anyone I danced stupidly with towards the end when I was too far gone to care.

Thank you to everyone that worked hard to make what happened happen, we all played a part in this... from those who travelled long hours from distant lands to local regulars to the producers and the Dj's.

Words cannot express. My deepest Thank you.

more peace, more love.

Still not feeling 100%.

Cannot get over the digital mystikz set...that closing tune...

In all honesty, I could have heard another hour of music from Kode 9 and Plastician in the morning.

Also, the sounds system is soooo much better than the last time I was there. Hats off to the whole DMZ lot. That system was so solid and my ears haven't been ringing terribly bad since.

Anyways, nice to be in London a few more days, absorb some.

Non Sequitor:

I'm one of the few people I know who've listened to Burial; let alone the rest of dubstep LOL
All of a sudden, as I'm sitting in the toilet in Borders they start playing Archangel on the store system...thought I was in a rave or something LOL

very surreal for me
