The Red Star Institute is a clubbing initiative designed to expose local amateur and underground DJ talent from all walks of life. Every week different DJs and producers get together for a jam with our residents not only with records and CDs but often laptops and other hardware are thrown into the mix.
Each Thursday, to an up for it crowd of revellers who can't wait for the weekend to start, the cream of underground electronic talent bubbles to the surface for their weekly fix.
Visit Red Star Institute in the boutique nightclub of Red on The Cowgate any Thursday for a selection of electro, techno, breaks, house, drum and bass and just about everything else imaginable!
