positive things the scene needs

Post by Littlefoot » Fri Mar 14, 2008 9:12 pm

no negative posts aka "get rid of" etc

I think more good quality studio mixes from interesting artists, focused ones, on their beats, their label, their town..

an all Skull Disco studio mix..
or a Deep Medi..

an all Bristol 08 studio mix...

a lost dubs studio mix..

I totally agree. I have said the same thing myself. The radio and live sets are cool but I would like to hear more well thought out mixes.

Edit, actually what I am on about is more quality studio mixes in general but I do dig the themed ones too.

studio lost dubs would be nice, agreed
not to take away from the Joe Nice series though - invaluable

Curses

I'd like to see the return of more housey grooves and party vibes to balance out the influx of ex-dnb heads (nothing against dnb, just seems to be way out of balance at the moment). Doesn't have to be all try hard deepness or shouty booze music.

Mostly positive, I did try
Hmm....

Motherfucking yes, half page Gif's of a tv show scene or your next gig, is just annoying.

More of one "culture", which means no talk of silly made up genres.

More, drug sober people.
