artwork runs the master laptop and something happened on the mixing desk so no sound would come through his mac. they all seemed to have a good night though and it didnt ruin the vibes.

partially agree with u ther only due to the fact that dubstep as whole is a new thing in Birmingham an most people dont no wots goin on in a normal set nevermind a 3 way live production.

But live sets aren't a new thing, especially for the dnb heads. Its the contrast in tunes that say n-type and magnetic man dropped, i think were the reason for some peoples comments.

Speaking for myself, im old and have seen live set in various electronic formats for years so its nothing new. I agree the contrast in stes was more to do with it. I would imagine if i heard that magnetic man set on the radio while chilling at home i would no doubt say it was sick... but it seemed a little to deep i guess for a club.

yeah i agree it does seem like a bandwagon is a rolling in brum town. I went through some records the weekend and found old dubstep i used to play at left foot about 4 years ago.

I mean i cant say i've been into it for years..... as its a new thing to me as well really, for about 7months or so ive been getting into it now...... But its seems literally the past month its blown up in brum big time. Compared to the last dubstep event which literally had about 30 heads it was a big shock tbh!

Cant be a bad thing there being more events and I much look forward to when skream and benga hopefully return to grace our ears with a DJ set

Yes i can appriciate they smash it on deck sets............ and live sets are wkd too. I am yet to see any headliners apart from urself play a DJ set in brum tho :'-(

Hopefully now its catching on times will change!

When are you back in brum next anyway?

Magnetic man is pretty much the most interesting thing out there to me right now. I can only imagine how dope their sets are. I'm doing some live stuff just with hardware, so my setup is a bit more limited, but yeah, live is the way forward.

Cause the dubstep is in room 3! The kitchen isn't great..... I thought hatcha was playing in the main room on another night not this one

To be honest i thought it was gonna be shit in manchester due to the club being a bit shit with the sound(only from the 1st experince) but magnetic smashed it sounded amazing -

I like benga's kool voice effects sound sweet....
