I think it's great that such events still go on, with a working relationship between both organisers, police and councils.
It's reasonable as it is. Go to an afterparty etc..

Standard!
I have a bloody wedding that I can't miss on the Sunday night! So its Carnival then put on a suit and head to Mayfair!
I would rather just chill at carnival and then hit a club!
My family aren't going to be happy when I turn up completely mash up.
The Monday its back to carnival. Wouldn't miss it for the world.

course man i never criticized anything. im from west i been going 2 carnival since i was young and i always enjoy myself there.
all im saying is that it would b even better if it was more like other carnivals around the world which are all day all night affairs.
sometimes the after parties are a pisstake. the 1 at ministry last yr was 25 for entry and dress code. smoking grade on the street in a tracksuit then going home, getting changed etc then goin all the way 2 ministry queing paying 2 get in paying 2 get home kind of kills the vibe 4 me.
