SPANISH DUBS - opinion wanted

Post by ojah » Mon Mar 24, 2008 5:52 pm

Hi,
I'm a spanish dub/dubstep producer. I've been producing dub music and doing dub remixes for quite a few years now, but there`s no scene here and sometimes it is frustrating...
I would really like to know what you people out there think of my music.

Big ups!!

Feedback search is a great job of using mixed mash synths sounds and very loud buzzes.

A- because it gives me sweet spanish groove that only a fly could make.

I don't understand very much what you mean with "groove that only a fly to make" but I guess thanks anyway!

i think you're talking about spanish flea :)

Ojah: these beats are on point bruv. Listend to all the tracks all solid, thick bass lines very deep. Fav tracks:

"If I Don't Smoke Herb"-love that sample ^_^ slow track wouldn't be dancing heavy to it but definitely a smoking choon

"Let Yourself Go" - This track is legitimate bro. proper dub sound you have on this one. I would love to have this on vinyl.

"Feed Back Search" - Real chillin roller this one bass is real gritty would be nice to here it cleaner but maybe that's what you were goin for. This track would definitely get thrown in the shopping basket.

Nice work man keep it up! Love to here more of you stuff as it progresses. Definitely work on making your own scene too. Likewise my hometown has no dubstep scene or club scene whatsoever but I found myself spinning dubstep on Wednesday nights at a local bar my friend runs and now it's poppin. People just cant resist the sounds they've never heard ^_^

Thanks for the opinions man, very much appreaciated!! And thanks for taking the time to listen to all the tracks
You're right, I also think my tracks are more smoking tunes than for dancing heavily... I guess that's because i`m more used to listening to dub/dubstep in the studio than in a dancefloor :)
I'm starting a dub radio show with my brother, I'll let you know when it starts if you are interested as once a month we will have dj mixes
Bless
