coat lining is a good one, if you gotta inside pocket make a whole in the bottom of it then you can drop your baggy right into the lining of it and fish it out once you're inside, hwoever some bounces do feel round the lining of your coat but you can normally just pass it off as a big piece of stiching or somethingJoe C wrote:arsecrack.Badga Tek wrote:Seen security make people take their shoes off at The End to check for drugs. Full apoligies to anyone who couldnt get in
please pvt message me as i need to bring this to herbals attention.
basically, we were informed 2 days before that the club had been double booked with a girls 19th bday party of 250!
tried to get her party pulled as we anticipated it would make everything alot more complex.
So all her 'guestlist' saturated the cue and any 'guestlist' we had was thrown out really.
Tried filtering through the cue to get our people in, which helped, but clearly people wernt getting in as they should have.
Not feeling the barcode bouncers and there lack of care for whatever night is going on... there the first point of contact before u get in the club when there behaving like concentration camp guards ...its not a good start.
in the process of finding another venue.
thnks for letting us know

no need to apologise as far as i see it as the bouncers behaviour is out of your control, they are a bit prickish though, but don't let this put you off future nights as music wise it was sick!

lucky for you, i mean i wasn't bothered as it was only a shit pen but it was the principle of it, you can't tell someone you'll look after their stuff until they come back and then lose it, what if it had been something valuable?ch3 wrote:They took all my pencils too, I got them back when leaving though.dubluke wrote:also last break the habit the bouncer took my pen on the way in cos he said i could stab someone with it (cmon) and said i could collect it on the way out but then when i did head out he'd lost it

Yep. Purple and G-Double. Nice to see my Acton familee out in force, haven't heard them call themselves the "Renegade Boys" since the playground days..!slowlygoingdeaf wrote:was purple hosting again?

And yeah. No need to apologise Break Da Habit, wern't your fault. Got there bout 11.15pm and if it wasn't for the dude who came through the crowd asking who was there for BDH, then ushering us to the front of the queue, we'd have probably been there til midnight or later. Queue wasn't moving at all.
what about 333? it's only a minute away from herbal and worked nicely for straight outta bethnalbreak the habit wrote: in the process of finding another venue.

Gotta love the shoe bomber really, he's from my home town in lovely quaint Somerset (Frome for all you west country folk). I met his dad in a pub once, was a cool guy.dubluke wrote:airports do have by-laws and are allowed to make you take off your shoes cos of the whole shoe bomber thing, i'd recommend www.direct.gov.uk - normally clarifies this kinda thing and useful for info on car licensing and council tax etc. found it quite handy myself in the pastDJ Whistla wrote:i wud defo like to know the full situation with regard to this whole "legalities of searching"badger wrote:possibly not the best source of information seeing as its the "K-Zone" lol, but anywayDelendi wrote:why not in shoes?
http://www.kevinboone.com/stopsearch.html
If you are searched in public the police do not have a right to insist that you remove any clothing other than an outer coat, jacket, or gloves [s2(9) PACE], or headgear that is believed to conceal your identity [s60 CJPOA]. Nor is there a general right to search you more than superficially (e.g., pockets, shoes). This is true whether the search is for proceeds of crime, bomb-making materials, or anything else. However, if a search is otherwise lawful, you may be required to remove any of your clothing out of public view (e.g., in a police station). Code A states that a thorough search must only be carried out by a constable of the same sex.
i assume airports have there own set of by-laws as they have made me take my shoes off nuff times.
is there any links to govt sites with regard to searching?
