it seems that a lot of girls think this way, whatever happened to equality???Jubscarz wrote:One of my exes got engaged last year, I think the stretch of her ambition is to get married, have a kid and stay at home with it, thus avoiding having to work.

i've been with the same woman for about 6 years... not getting married, ever.
I've been with my girlfriend for 5 years now, (although we've only actually lived in the same town for about two of those) - personally I'm not bothered - I see marriage as an excuse for a party with some tax benefits, but she's definitely against the idea, so it's probably not going to happen.Misk wrote:i've been with the same woman for about 6 years... not getting married, ever.

staying at home to take care of the fam and home doesn't make someone any less equal. managing a household and raising children is really a full time job, plus some. and if you can afford it, it's WAY better for the kids. I, for one, do not want my children raised by a nanny while i'm at work all day. it's all about having the choice to live your life as fulfills you anyway. and if taking care of your family is what fulfills you, then that's that.

"At the workplace, you shouldn’t look at problems in a traditional way. There might be better solutions. Dare to be creative," is Wang’ archlord power leveling s advice."

after 5 years of being with one person, that person really becomes your home in a lot of ways. more time spent in intimacy together is just a much deeper level of experiencing someone & yourself. i think at that point its beyond commitment, its just an organic energetic connection
