considering all the flak he's taken, the man has come a long way over the years. jungle mc to ukg to grime and now to funky with the odd appearance in dubstep. whatever your opinion of him i think you got to respect his hustle.
ps i think its on practice hours 1 dvd there's a brief clip of him and riko on mic in some jungle rave YEARS ago

This is grime even before he knew it was grime(some of it, some oldksool drum and bass tunes slowed down also included in this mix).

i think, by far the best MC to grace grime.. after the demolition of PAYG by heartless, he was the only man to come back, not too sure about the funky tho...but still you gotta give him props... i guess he made east london the forefront of grime with his tunes/productions!

Shame that 'Wearin My Rolex' is utter electro-pop garbage.

i dunno, at least it's blatantly something different rather than swaggish sub-par hip-hop, which a lot of MCs turn to when they're not doing grime.
i like rolex.. hope it charts proper high so we can see wiley on mainstream TV

i massively rated wiley he reecks all the other grime mcs but then i heard rolex
there are like 16 bars of spittin and then that stupid little "usually drink" ting repeated.. and he gets the credit for the tune? shouldn't it be under Bless Beats [w/ Wiley]?
when dizzee rascal sold out at least he kept the bars coming...

i don't think he's quite grasped the idea of punctuation yet.
or the use of paragraphs.
or sentences for that matter.

calm down bruv he's hardly sold out all of a sudden! i don't think anyone with even the slightest interest in grime would begrudge wiley some commercial success, whether it's with a grime tune or not.

i hope he makes a million
wearing my rolex is a fun tune, and its a sick hook. there's nothing wrong with hooks, most underground mc's make their name on hooks and repeatedly dropping them until reload in any case
a complete legend
