so i just picked up a m-audio axiom 25 midi controler....
i cruently dj with tracktor dj 3 (w/m-audio pro interface) i found this free's up my time to add my own twist to the track's. i brought back in one of my turntables to scratch over slower dubs. but this tends to get anoying after a bit.
so what i'm looking to do is use this controller to add some live drumin and synth to track's. at this time i i'm alittle short on cash and expereance to buy the full ableton live program and the live light that came with it is alittle over my head and alittle to much for what i'm trying to do.
what would you guys recomend as a simple starter program for adding drum efects in a live set.
looking for a program to use with axiom 25....

don't mind the spelling, i'm drunk.

First off, download "Enigma" for M-Audio Keyboards, it lets you assign knobs to certain programs visually, and you can switch through banks for different programs (if you already haven't).
Ableton Live is extremely Axiom compatible, if you're just looking to trigger samples though, maybe something like Battery 3, or any of the Battery series.
Good choice in keyboard btw
