since my post summarizing this situation was moved for aleks' safety, i'll take the time to reiterate

if ozols was going on about how he got some new job with more hours than he wanted, making much more money than he needs, so he could buy a bunch of shit he doesn't want, everybody would be patting him on the back and giving him words of encouragement.

man talks about love and purpose a bit erratically and suddenly everybody's concerned.

parson, i'm not going to say anymore on this matter as it is taking away from the issue, but no-one has a problem with what ozols was saying, if you agree with what he is saying then fine, the reason people are concerned are that he was talking about his life being in danger, his posts were becoming more and more erratic and paranoid, and the difference from his normal posts and the way he was going about what he was saying (NOT WHAT HE WAS SAYING necessarily) suggested he wasn't feeling quite right

if he has a point to make about love and purpose etc. then that is fine and no-one is stopping you from agreeing with that, its just certain things he said above that caused some genuine concern amongst us, can you see where i'm coming from?

every day all i can think about is how crazy most of you people are with your ridiculous beliefs and suddenly somebody comes along saying ridiculous things that are out of phase with consensus and now everybody's a humanitarian.

Can I just ask. What's the big fuss about? I don't know Alex personally but it must be serious if 7 pages of replies are on his case.
