Bert, DDD has a laptop with serato on it - is it possible to borrow the laptop for the streaming - not sure if you've got someone using it for Platform 1 and DOTS whilst you're out of the country
Hmm....

Who's serato are you using?

If MBP is on a mac and your not worried about video you can always use the streamizm shoutcast account for audio only. Do people really want to see you both? Really? Think about it.

My work lappy will be entrusted to young Misery for Dots/Platform 1 whilst I'm battling with altitude sickness somewhere north of Boulder :)

I see what you mean, maybe we should get yashmaks.

If Dara's got the stream on her laptop then all we need is the serato box - do you need this whilst your away or is it in use elsewhere? Then just set it up on the Laptop du MBP
Hmm....

Right ok. Techie side is stream off Dara's which should be fine and serato on MBP's pc.

So all line up sorted, techy stuff mostly in the bag (unless unforeseen fail occurs) and after party sorted. Not a bad 24 hours work if I do say so myself :D
Hmm....

jesus!!!

i am busy for a couple of days and what the hell has happened in here?!?! haha - good to see things are rolling!

kept meaning to say - there was quite a bit of dubstep on the show, but thats quite appropriate for a first launch show seeing as that's how everyone's met basically.... we did have house, skwee, hip hop, reggae, grime, blah blah - so not as dubstep bound as some shows i thought... if people want other tunes then i suggest they lug some along and slap em on themselves :P (and of course pay me in booze for the pleasure of it or i pull the stream ;))

Just a note on future dates - havent chatted to monsieur berticles - but am gonna try book the stream for hiphopizm chez moi on the 22nd June for a sunday afternoon lounge session - assuming the move to the new pad is a result.... (not necessarily ninja tbh, but can be! Most of the peeps coming/contributing are on here ahyway ;) - so far Will Blaze, Datura, Shonkles, myself and the promise of a mix from BaldyLocks.... sorry i mean BaldyLogic... or is it Kid?! i get confused)

And another one around that time for a sub warming special with some special local brighton guests....

oh and to this:

haw haw haw, true DMZ 3rd birthday I was in a pretty heavy nick, excuses aside I DID start at 1pm...is that a challenge badger?
i seem to recall mention of an incident at stanton's party too

we wouldn't want to risk ruining the majesty of secret ninja radio by having a challenge on air would we? or would we?
do you dare challenge me right on air?!

Electrowerkz in Angel. Going to sort guesties in the next few days. Will have to prioritize people that I've already promised freebies to. If I can't get them all, then I suggest that some of those that get on the list for nowt pay half the price of those left off, Dara, MBP and me excluded
