really really liking this one a lot. also what deamonds said, that percussion is sick in grot bags, u dont hear ti that nuch unless u notice it in the intro - u know the percussion i mean? the offbeat rimshotty sort of things

I love this one , much darker than the original imo , the way u focused on this melody only and not adding the other ones , the bass & drums suit it perfectly bringing some depth
Djuna's version is sick as well

The original definitely caught my ear with the mellow vibes, and this version is good too. The sort of vowel-y bass sound that spins around from left to right is cool, but maybe could be used more sparingly? The drums are sick, with the ghost snares and intricate hihat patterns, really nice. I even think that where the hihats are on the upbeat, like in a 4x4 house/techno type rhythm, you could actually do that with the kicks, too. To have a 4x4 steppers rhythm might lend it a faster pace while still being really ethereal. Sick remix.

I love djunya's original mix so was actually really hard to get this done without totally ruining it. lol

Interesting, cos the original is really Cyrus-like in the first place. I vote this one for RTP05 if possible.
On a slightly different note - when on earth is TEC004 going to get a re-press? Need that Indian Stomp.

Thanks for the feedback fellas.
If you fancy a little soming to listen to...
I done a little 8 bar promo mix in 05/06 of some of my tracks from around that time. I've put it up on youtube ( gotta jump on the bandwagon). Thanks to martin clarke for hosting this back then.
