Gonna act all serious,
I don't believe when people say we have the most expensive travle in the world. I went to Bristol and the buses where much more expensive. If your under 16 its free and otherwise its 90p on the bus, 4 yrs ago it was 40p if you were under 16 and 1 pound otherwise? If you say "Yer but only with one of them oyster things". Come on who doesnt have an oyster they are FREE (3 pound deposit) from any station.
Also I have a problem with who i want to vote for, in the london election as well as when the genreal election is coming, I dont want to vote New Labour because i really don't like any of thier policies. but think the thought of Tories getting into power doesnt appeal either. The Lib Dems dont seem to offer nething but we are not the other two and everyone else takes things as a joke.
Newho i'm off to the B-lines of Youngsta

I think it's the disportionate nature of the expense to the service provided that pisses most people off, though. everything that Transport for London has done since its inception has been a cynical moneymaking scheme. the fares have gradually gotten higher and higher and the buses tubes & trains have gradually gotten worse and worse. what the fuck are they spending it on?
the congestion charge is a joke, too; if they really wanted to reduce traffic in london they'd make it so astronomically high that nobody could afford to enter the zone. instead they make it just enough so casual drivers will be put off going every day, but just low enough that most people will just lump the cost. instead the traffic levels are pretty much the same and they're making half a million quid every 8 hours off it.
he's handed london's transport over to a company almost entirely made up of management consultants who couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery and then harps on about how much better its getting

-He talks of Africans as “picaninnies”, saying that when the prime minister visits Africa, “the pangas will stop their hacking of human flesh, and the tribal warriors will all break out in big watermelon smiles to see the big white chief touch down in his big white British taxpayer-funded bird”.
This cant be serious?
Arnold Schwarzenegger (now respected Governor of California) has, that Boris is “fumbling all over the place”.
when did that happen?
And the US on the Kyoto Protocol..
George Bush wrote:
This is a challenge that requires a 100% effort; ours, and the rest of the world's. The world's second-largest emitter of greenhouse gases is the People's Republic of China. Yet, China was entirely exempted from the requirements of the Kyoto Protocol. India and Germany are among the top emitters. Yet, India was also exempt from Kyoto … America's unwillingness to embrace a flawed treaty should not be read by our friends and allies as any abdication of responsibility. To the contrary, my administration is committed to a leadership role on the issue of climate change … Our approach must be consistent with the long-term goal of stabilizing greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere."

Seriously, I'm probably moving to london in a few months and if you've all fucked it up by the time I get there there are going to be serious fucking repercussions.
Ken may or may not be a tnuc, but at least he's not a Tory tnuc.

Yep, that happened.
As I said earlier, he also published an article in his magazine which suggested that black people have lower I.Qs.
"Yeh that Boris bloke iz well funni. I lik the way he says rascist shit, then laughs it off. lol lol lol"
To be honest though, I think you guys should elect him cause he's currently the local MP for my hometown. So you'd be doing me a favour. (Not so sure about the race relations of London, though)

Yeah, for real, it costs me a quid fifty to make a single bus journey in nottingham, and that's only if it's not very long. Night bus is at least double that, you might as well get a taxi if there are a few of you. Compare with 90p for a bus and £1.50 for the tube to anywhere in zones 1&2 or whatever it costs a month to basically go wherever the hell you want when you want to go there - compared to the rest of britain it's the public transport promised land, it really is.

Yeah Nottingham buses are a tnuc. £1.50 to go 400 metres down the road. And they don't give change.

other than the trains, comparatively, london's public transport system is alright
fuck this routemasters idea, typical backward looking "lets get back to the glory days" (if we ever had any in britain

) tory idea, bendy buses carry more people and the three doors system makes much more sense rather than having everyone fumbling and pushing to get out of one, also i highly doubt having a conductor will keep down "anti-social behaviour" on buses, ultimately whats he/she gonna do?? throw their oyster card scanner at troublemakers? i think not
