I thought I'd compare the 2 and funnily enough they appear to show different values as for frequencies as for RMS level.
Can somebody explain me that?
EDIT: ok I'm a dumbass, I didn't notice Span only shows from -60 dB to 0 while Inspector starts at -100 dB. So that's it for the frequencies but still the RMS level in Span is always lower than Inspector's.

All metering differs slightly from plugin to plug in and hardware unit to unit.
A good example is probably a dj mixers metering..
Ive used a few different spectrum analysers and some are quite shocking..but the inspector does seem very good and highly responsive
