contract advances and cuts?
We have a few labels interested in our tracks.. Before we get lost in the industry. Whats a standard cut and advance for each track to be released?

I really got $500.00 for 2 tunes
I've been producing for about 15 years and just recently (last 5 years) began to feel like I sorta know what I'm doing
and yes now the tunes are getting signed

It’s really more about finding labels you’re happy and confident in. History is littered with artists who went with the dollars and then got screwed. You’re better off to find a label you can communicate well with and who believe in your work – you’ll be much happier and as a result make better music.
