Kinda got it too. It's pretty quiet so far but it's permanent. It's fine as long as there is some noise around but gets bothering at night.

Thinking of offering cheap pairs of earplugs from the drugstore at the parties we organize if it fits the budget. At least print some info about hearing loss and tinnitus.

i think there is a charity that can supply you with a big bag of them free of charge to hand out to people at the night, i will try and get the info of ThinKing, if not you can get big tubs of the foam ones from www.audiorelief.co.uk

big up for doing that, more nights should make people aware of the risks

I thought clubs were obliged to offer earplugs if requested? We did where I worked, I asked why and I was told that venues operating over certain levels had to by law..?

Only if requested indeed. Never seen anybody asking for it.
I find tellings from people who experience it pretty convencing. Might get people thinking about it. Hopefully.

do you still have it thomas??

will was telling me something last night that apparantly helps, if you tune into white noise on the FM radio, then put the volume to silent, then slowly turn up the volume to match the volume of the ringing in your ears it apparantly "resets the ears" a little

gonna have a proper look into that though, don't launch right into it just on that brief explanation

Yes, but to be honest is really is the lowest of volumes i could imagian it taking on. Mainly only notice it when in total silence. I can't really comment on if its gotten worse because i didnt even realise what it was untill way after i started to have it. I do know that it has'nt got much worse since i started to go to clubs (never more than 2 nights in a row mind), and it can be "forgoten" about for a while if your minds busy.
