First wobbly tune you heard

Post by epithet » Fri Apr 25, 2008 3:25 am

Whether it be house, clownstep, garage, dubstep, bassline or whatever, what is the first time/tune you got your wobble on ?

Mine would be dooms night - azzido da bass maybe or Mr oizo - flatbeat ?

No fuckin shit...

I used to listen to ELP as a kid and hoped that one day I could come up with sounds like Keith Emerson. Keith Emerson is the man with a moog... I seen them live about 8 years ago and dude still has mad skills.

innit, I bought it on vinyl because of the memories. Witness to Fitness had a bit of a wobble, but the first dubstep was Stagger, BIG TUNE!!!

"I got the feeling" by Two Tons O'Fun, a disco tune with a lots of dubbedout bits all over the song (of course I refer to the longer mix)

EDIT: I forgot to tell the real fun starts after 3:30, then the dub stylings begin to take in. Wobble is always on, some light uprising echoes and then a clap which will smash your skull and then some all analog fat niceness. Essential, seminal tune. Nah miss it!

The original innovators were undoubtedly the 13th Floor Elevators and their electric jug.

Sadly, you can't really hear the jug on that clip, but what the hell.

probably flat beat tbh. i must have been well young when i first saw that ad.
i wouldnt call super sharp shooter wobbly. wobble means filters rather than pitch, to me anyway.
