never had any, prob never will, just don't think they are essential and will likely always have something else to spend the money on

Virus TI.

Dont care if it sounds better or not I fucking hate using a mouse to move a nob! Midi controlers are longer than a horses dick!

They give you so much control. They (imo) sound better and the most important thing... It has its own sound whihc no one else is gonna av..unless they buy one! Nice way to stand out a lil!

and I think the original poster meant "hardware synth" and not "analogue synth"

most hardware synths are analogue modelling, yet digital

I used an sh-101 borrowed from a friend sometimes and it fries the audio spectrum, its like a saw which breaks it into two parts. Leads made out of it really stand out, its like you can hear the voltage ! My only "analog synth" so far I own is a did-I-myself NE555 osc which is more like an UZI and defo not smooth.

Why does everyone want a digital analogue synth like a virus ti. Prefer a vintage analogue synth all day long for the weight and warmth. I can make whumptftfjwjrhfijoewhrferoiwf noises in my sampler
