San Francisco Bay Area represent.

We've been saying it since at least the early 80's. We'll keep saying it.

I'm Bay Area born and raised. I've been away for years and I still say it.

If I ever make it to the UK you better believe I'll be saying it lol.

I'll keep describing things that I like as "hella tight", too

NO WE CAN'T YOU MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT WANKERS
lol

see the funny thing is in america we just say "sue" and you guys say "action".

"action" implies that an act will take place, whereas "sue" just implies a process.

"i'm going to sue you ....you bastard"
"i'll sue your ass for everything you got"
etc
no man if they meant 'action' as in 'class action' then that would at least make a bit of sense...they say "can we action that" to mean "can we do that", then at the end of the meeting they go through a list of 'actions' that we've decided to....do

wankers

it's not irritating or anything (i suppose because i've never heard anyone over here say it) but it just strikes me as a really weird phrase

the word 'proactive' fucks me off something rotten.

We need to ban all slang.

This has gone on way to long.

"I could care less"

I know it's not just a word that doesn't exist, it's a damned shame though...

Think about what you're saying! You could care less? I thought the point you were trying to get across was that you couldn't care any less about the issue at hand...

/rant

Along the same line as phrases that piss you off in meetings, there are quite a few. Paramount of that list is "non-issue" for me... For some reason that one really gets to me, although I sometimes love using it because it makes me feel like a manager.
