(this is mainly for a mate who loves this kind of stuff)

'dubbed out' to me doesn't = reggae, it means, lots of space, mad one-off FX/delay/reverb and shit. Think King Tubby, Lee Perry, Scientist etc...

In that respect I think of Pinch, RSD, Mala, Peverelist (mostly his new dubplates), 2562....

Fat Freddy's Drop - Cay's Cray's (Mala Remix) is basically dub with sub.

in fact my mate managed to get this on wax somehow despite it selling out hard - he bought it from a shop in new zealand he said.

Boxcutter - Glyphic took the idea of dubbed out to a whole new level in my book! Barely a sound you would recognise from anything reggae, but it just...leaves a dub aftertaste if that makes any sense!

Basically, ive got no idea what the man did. But it was fucking amazing :o
