As seen in the Weekend herald, a mad full-page write-up on the Dubstep Alliance crew and just what is going on fortnightly wednesdays...

is it just auckland or is the dubstep spreading everywhere?
ollie rhodes has said about the dubstep alliance and the NZ subheavy soundsystem...are there a lot of soundsystems playing dubstep?

tech itch is from bristol UK though.

6blocc, juju and djunya are the biggest US names imo. they've got a bit of a theme/vision with their tunes without all sounding the same.

any NZ dubstep producers to check out?

Killer article. Lol, regarding that one dude's fear of dubstep getting too big, it would be really strange to hear something like Distance's "Traffic" in the background of like, a Nissan commercial. Haha, I'd buy that car.

sincere vibes NZ style, no posturing, no bullshit, just open the bar, slap dem tunes on, play whatever you like, in any order, any genre old/new/techy/froggy/emostep/voodootech or illpoptronica blah, blah, then spend all week grinning every time you remember the nights antics.

(p.s. danced so long and hard last dubstep alliance i hurt my leg, thats not the behaviour of the "zombies" mentioned by the random fellah in the article).

(p.p.s check my alliance debut on 30th july! :C:

http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=51270)

been down customs house arguing the toss all week just to get ma vinylz thru this country's stringently regimented border policy so I'm gonna make each play from here on in count!! Auckland you have been warned... Check Mr.Jason George (dubstep weekly) 2moro night, spearheading Auckland's toadstep revolution :D )
