nice one, great find, the sound chaser is the best to me, i guess inspired by the old skool 'vinyl killa' (http://www.retrothing.com/2006/06/the_vinyl_kille.html)

The randomness of putting record rails 1, 2 bars long, from completely different records one after each other could be something special.

I can also see it as a format used for very limited editions of 12"s, i can defo picture Cut Chemist put out a limited run of 50 copies of one of his 12", that does break down into 20 small 'record rails', gotta love that ;)

Although a Grand idea, as a Project and experiment in Sound through the 20th century...
I agree with the first comment on the Page. It totally lacks practicality and Displays a number of concepts, still Used more effectively today...
Namely,
Scratching ( I dont need to put my Finger in the Cartridge to Know I am Doing it)
And Sampling, ( I dare you to cut up you Record Collection to Physically Sample your Tunes... )
Every thing was fine until Chainsaw Calligraphy, when it suddenly felt like someone had raped my eardrums...

This reminds me a little bit of the "Remains" album by Still (ex-Dälek DJ). He produced the album only with his turntables and effect pedals. It has a really unique aesthetic.
