i skated forever but stopped because i became a lazy pothead with transportation.

i got a deck recently, but that pothead thing kicked in and i still haven't bought trucks or wheels.

looks cool on the wall though.

been a while since i skated. used to be much more into the flat-land stuff. nothing like pulling off your own ridiculous name-less move you know you'll never pull of for another 500 attempts.

My hand got shattered in pieces as I tried to save my head from hitting the curb. Haven't been on a longboard since then :?

Used to skate until my back started playing up when I was 19/20, went for a little skate on a mates board the weekend of the last dmz leeds and really enjoyed, even considered buying a board again but a couple of days later my back decided to remind why I quit in the first place. Can still pop a good kickflip.

tried it once on my own. thought it looked easy and gave a powerful push off the ground. didnt realise there was a whole balance thing going on, went flying backwards and smashed my arse on the sidewalk. hadnt even got out the driveway. lol.
so i got myself a snowboard instead and its been tru love eva since. that was definitely much easier to learn. skaters n longboarders have my eternal respect though!
